Plain terms for a small app. Using it means you accept them.
What you get
A licence to use Redirect Loop on devices you own, for your own use. The app and everything in it stays ours. Please don’t copy it, resell it, or pull it apart to ship something else.
What it is, and what it isn’t
It is a focus tool. It is not medical advice and it is not treatment for anything. If your relationship with your phone is causing you real harm, please talk to someone qualified rather than relying on an app, this one included.
Blocking is best effort
Blocking runs on Apple’s Screen Time. That means it works the way iOS decides it works, and iOS can change it. A few honest limits:
- iOS grants Screen Time to one app at a time. If another app holds it, this one cannot block.
- Deleting the app removes its blocks. This is deliberate on Apple’s part and we cannot prevent it.
- The app offers timed passes on purpose. A blocker that cannot be got past gets deleted instead.
So the app is a door you asked us to hold, not a lock. Don’t rely on it for anything where failing to block would be serious.
Your content
The tasks and steps you write are yours. They live on your device. When a task title is sent for a next step, it is processed and discarded, never stored. The privacy policy has the detail.
Availability
Step generation depends on a service that may be slow, down, or discontinued. When it is unavailable the app falls back to steps written into it and keeps working. We may change or stop features, and we will not pretend otherwise.
No warranty, and what we’re liable for
The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app.
Payments and Plus
Blocking, sessions, windows and the record are free and do not depend on a subscription. Plus is the model breaking down your task beyond the free daily steps, and it is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through Apple or Google. The price is shown before you buy.
It renews on its own until you cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings, at least a day before the current period ends. A free trial, where one is offered, becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. Apple’s and Google’s terms and refund policies apply to every purchase, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Ending it
Delete the app whenever you like, and that’s that. We may end this licence if the app is being misused in a way that harms the service or other people.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the app will say so rather than this page quietly updating. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
